Do you think reality has to be something specific? Would you describe yourself as smart, boring, creative, funny, sexy, intuitive…. do you ACCEPT what you think you know about yourself or could you delve deeper, explore your own self more?
The world as we know is full of infinite opportunities, but we are only able to perceive a very small part of it. What you do perceive is shaped by your culture, environment, experiences, education, interests and assumptions.
The world with all its influences and expectations is so vast and rich that you literally have to simplify it to make sense of it, to make decisions or to interact in it!
Would you say you know everything you wish to know about yourself, is there more left out that you have not yet explored? Are you digging deep enough into the parts of your life that are of interest and have relevance to you, could you be ignoring or dismissing this?
Do you wish to be looking at the world with blinkers on or would you like a wide angle view that captures, collects and acts on everything? With an open mind the world is rich and exciting.
How I see the world and how you see the world, may differ. The thing is to get curious and investigate how YOU perceive reality. There is no absolute reality, only perceptions of it.
So for the next week I challenge you to let go of what you think reality must be and get curious about a new version of reality. Where will that take you?
